The challenge
College of Marin needed a complete refresh of its main website and a streamlined system for managing the many department sites that lived within it. Years of decentralized updates led to inconsistencies in design, content structure, and accessibility. They were looking for a modern, unified digital experience that upheld brand consistency, met accessibility standards, and gave departments the flexibility to manage their own content without technical stress.
The Solution
We created a turnkey web framework that allowed College of Marin to launch department sites quickly and confidently, all within a cohesive design system tailored to the college’s brand and communication needs. Departments gained the autonomy to update their own pages while benefiting from built-in consistency, accessibility, and ease of use. As part of an ongoing partnership, we’ve also supported COM with design refinements, accessibility improvements, and system updates to ensure their site stays fresh, secure, and responsive to the evolving needs of their students and community.
