The challenge
SRJC’s main website had become outdated, both visually and structurally. Over time, individual departments had developed their own separate sites with inconsistent layouts, branding, and accessibility practices. The college needed a refreshed, unified digital experience that maintained brand cohesion while still giving each department the autonomy to manage and update its own content. Accessibility compliance was also a major concern, both as a legal requirement and as part of SRJC’s commitment to inclusivity and usability for all visitors.
The Solution
We partnered with SRJC to completely rebuild their main site and create a scalable framework for departmental sites within it. The new system allows the SRJC team to spin up new department sites in minutes—complete with preloaded templates, cohesive branding, and dummy content ready for customization. This turnkey solution gave each department flexibility without sacrificing visual or structural consistency across the institution. We also conducted training sessions for department heads and administrators, ensuring they had the skills to manage their own sites effectively. Beyond the initial rollout, we provided consulting and accessibility guidance to help SRJC meet modern standards and maintain a high level of usability across all properties.
