Interacting with winery taste room's point of sale software, VingDirect allows wineries to track sales, conversion rates, train and certify employees all through a stylish web interface.
Challenge
VingDirect approached us with the unique challenge of creating an online portal for Winery Tasting Rooms. The site needed to look clean and inviting, and needed to provide both in-depth sales information as well as training tools for new tasting room employees.
Solution
We created an online sales tool "front end" to explain and market the service that VingDirect offers. Behind the scenes, we developed a highly customized "back end" which aggregates data from Point of Sales software at the individual tasting rooms, feeds it into a database, and finally populates animated graphs and reports that winery managers are able to view and filter on the fly to get the data they need. Additionally, the back end has an interface that allows employees to log in, attend training, take tests and become certified in areas relevant to their positions.
