As American Red Cross Authorized Providers our First Aid/CPR/AED program providers participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until advanced Medical help arrives. Our program offers a choice of First Aid, CPR and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) courses and injury-control modules to meet the various training and regulatory requirements in the workplace, school or community settings.

The technical content within the First Aid/CPR program reflects the most current consensus on scientific recommendation. The program content includes the knowledge and skills necessary for participants to identify and eliminate potentially hazardous conditions, recognize emergencies and make appropriate decisions for First Aid care regardless of the emergency.

The program stresses the basic steps to follow in any emergency, beginning with the most important step - the decision to act - and helps participants confront their fears of getting involved and giving assistance.

Each course includes information on injury and illness prevention, with a focus on personal safety. Using healthy life-awareness questionnaires, participants will assess their enviornment and personal habits to help reduce their risk of injury and illness.
