Flowertote

For Flowertote's full website redesign, we wanted to mirror the clean and functional themes already present in the product line themselves.

Challenge

Flowertote provides a specialty product to a specialty market. As such, their web visitors are likely to be familiar with the industry and looking to them to solve a problem endemic to the floral arts. Flowertote wanted a direct presentation of their product line and how it eases into the daisy-chain operations of the floral industry, and contacted LINK Creative to help bring their vision to fruition.

Solution

With their business centered around a specific product, we decided to mirror the sentiment and grew the homepage around a central “presentation box” that primarily frames images of the product and informs the reader of the solutions that Flowertote provides. To elicit visual contrast, we decided to let the image box attract the viewer with bolder hues of colors that exist in more muted tones throughout the site. Past a terse FAQ we take the viewer to the product detail pages, and provide direct integration into a checkout page that allows the customer to shop while browsing and synchronizes on the backend with the site operator. We built the design to be consistent with nationally-publicized magazine advertisements which we also designed for Flowertote. It's this screen-to-paper consistency that we feel helps their product blossom into the lives of their customers.
