Challenge

Established specialty-chocolate manufacturer Chocolate Decadence has been in business for a number of decades, and has had a homepage for a number of years. However, as the sophistication and importance of websites and online sales has increased with the popularity of digital media, Chocolate Decadence recognized their necessity to mature into the Information Age, and contacted LINK Creative to cast them into a new mold.

Solution

Our primary vision for Chocolate Decadence was "in-house consistency," and to achieve this, we first provided a native shopping cart that kept the viewer in the domain and focused on the product. For the merchandise subsections, goods were aggregated onto a few pages with purchasing links, such that the viewer was placed into a virtual menu from which they could pick and choose without being directed to a wholly different webpage. To tie everything together, we used background tones and shading which aligned more closely with their printed marketing material, and which is reminiscent of the product at hand.
